So Much In Common

I have SO Much in common with this "HOT" Housewife of Atlanta... Kim. I can relate to her so well..... for you see Kim cannot reveal who her S.O. is..... and must be kept a secret..... and so, is my story. My S.O. must NEVER be revealed due to FEAR of Identity Theft!!!!!!! Since Kim's S.O. is referred to as "Big Papa" ..... I shall refer to my S.O. as "Big Guy" .... Housewife of Snyder

Who Would Have Guessed?????

Who would have guessed this SWEET, INOCENT, child would grow up to STEAL one of her poor Mother's blog pictures??? Yes, it's true. I had to upload my pictures myself, which took two days to learn, figure out how to manage the icon on this blog..... receiving very little help from the IMP in the picture.

All I wanted to do was make a special blog spot for Grandma Van's 85th birthday. After all the blood, sweat and tears, I find that Missey has already SMEARED Grandma's picture on top of her blog..... in JUST a BLINK of an eye.....

So.... do you know what this means....... my blog followers????????? BLOG WAR

Happy 85th Birthday Mom

Happy Birthday to my Mother.......where do I start? I remember that warm summer day when we moved you into your assisted living center. How difficult that was for me. As one chapter closed, another began. I remember you taking care of me .... and now the story changes... it is I, who now will take care of you, my dear Mother. How much you have taught me in our lifetime together. Now with childlike faith you look to me for those answers that are troubling you....How I wish I could be there for you, during those moments when you are lonely or sad, or uncertain of your next trial. Mom... for you I wish for your comfort and happiness. May peace surround you and love abound.... I express my love for you..... Happy Birthday ..... Dear Mother.

I love this quote that my brother sent in his Christmas letter this year.... "There is always, always something to be be thankful for. "Rejoicing in ordinary things takes guts. Each time we drop our complaints and allow everyday good fortune to inspire us, we enter the warrior's world"" ....Pema chodron

May we all enjoy the gifts that we have been given in our time here on Earth. A beautiful sunset...... a cat's pink nose ..... the wind blowing the leaves. ... a smile ....
